Fees and Discounts
Forms: If camper forms (medical, camper information) are not submitted in their entirety by April 1, 2010, each camper’s account will be charged $100. Tuition includes weekly professional laundry service; a BBPC t-shirt; out-of-camp trip expenses (admission, food, transportation, lodging and extra spending money); all in-camp programs, activities and supplies; t-shirt for special programs; sweatshirt/t-shirt/pants for Senior and Pioneer campers; and transportation on select dates to/from Long Island, Rockland, Westchester, Maryland or Philadelphia area.
Canteen is a pre-paid account with which campers may purchase ice cream, snack food and drinks, toiletries, stamps, camp supplies and Perlman Gear at the Camp Canteen.
Gratuity: In accordance with American Camp Association guidelines, individual tips/gratuities are not permitted. A gratuity fund has been established to benefit all summer camp staff.
Sibling Discount: Families registering more than one child will receive a discount of $100 per additional Full Season, Pioneer or PIE camper and $50 per additional First, Second or Rookie Session camper. This amount does not apply to the $750 deposit required for each camper. SIT campers are not eligible for sibling discounts. Applicable discounts will be reflected on the account statement.
Referral Discount: Receive $150 for each new registered camper that you refer to Perlman Camp. Restrictions apply. Applicable discounts will be reflected on the account statement. If a referral discount results in a credit on the account, it may be applied to a Silent or Live Auction purchase on Visiting Day or refunded via check issued in October.

Additional Information
This registration application is just one portion of the registration process. A camper is not considered fully enrolled until all required forms, documents and payments have been submitted to & approved by the camp office . BBPC may retain any and all monies paid in the event a ca mper’s registration is cancelled due to missing or insufficient forms, information or payment. BBPC is a community experience and campers must be cooperative in this environment. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (by mail, fax or email) to the Camp Registrar. In the event of cancellation received by the dates specified, the following amounts will be non-refundable: prior to February 1, 2010, $500; after February 1 but prior to June 1, 2010, $750. If cancellation is received after June 1, 2010, no tuition payment will be refundable. After June 23, 2010, campers reducing their session enrollment will be charged $200 in addition to the appropriate tuition, canteen and gratuity. Refunds granted after April 1, 2010 will be paid via check issued in October ‘10.

Parent/Guardian Agreement
* For the safety, health and welfare of everyone at camp, campers and their families must abide by all camp rules/policies as set forth by Camp Directors. BBPC reserves the right to refuse, cancel or dismiss any camper whose conduct, physical condition or influence upon others is considered unsatisfactory by the Camp Directors. If a camper is dismissed from camp, it will be at the family’s expense and with no refund of tuition or fees.
* BBPC is a group experience and campers must be able to participate cooperatively in cabin life, group programs and community living. Campers must meet the health and social maturity standards deemed appropriate by Camp Directors. Disclosure of all medical and psychological treatments (past and present) that may affect the camp experience is required before enrollment. Failure to provide full disclosure is grounds for cancellation/dismissal without refund of tuition or fees.
* The absence of any particular activity or program, inability to use or operate a particular facility or program area, or failure of any instruction or activity to take place will not under any circumstances constitute a reason for refund. Refunds, deductions and prorates for any camper who arrives late or leaves early for any reason will be made solely at the discretion of the Camp Director. * BBPC reserves the right to search all luggage, mail/packages and personal belongings. If weapons, ammunition, alcohol, illegal drugs, pornography, tobacco products, fireworks, cell phones, DVD players, laptops, televisions, or any other items considered inappropriate or unsuitable for the camp community are found, at the Director’s sole discretion, they will be confiscated and disposed of, turned over to the legal authorities or returned home at the family’s expense.
* In the event of an emergency, BBPC will make every reasonable effort to contact the parent/guardian. If medical attention is required, the signature below gives permission to the health care provider selected by the Camp Director, or his agent, to administer any necessary medical, surgical or dental treatment including, but not limited to, x-rays, routine tests, medications, anesthesia and hospitalization. BBPC cannot assume responsibility for the adequacy or quality of the services rendered by the health care provider and any and all claims and rights which may result, either directly or indirectly, including those involving medical and/or legal costs, shall be governed by applicable law and limited by BBPC insurance coverage so that BBPC, its directors, employees and agents will not have any other liability.
* Perlman Camp may use, print and reproduce any photographs or videos, in any format, of my child in brochures, display materials, advertising, newsletters, the Perlman Camp website, other websites and for any other legal purposes intended to promote the interests of Perlman Camp.
* A $750 deposit is required with each application. The remaining balance is due no later than April 1, 2010. Applications received after April 1, 2010 must include a $1500 deposit; the balance is due no later than June 1, 2010. No child will be permitted to attend camp unless the account is paid in full or prior arrangements have been made with the Business Manager. Payment may be made by cash, check (made payable to: B’nai B’rith Perlman Camp), or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express). Fees associated with returned checks will be charged to the family’s account.
* I give approval to my child’s participation in any and all activities (on and off camp premises including trips) of Camp. Such participation is voluntary and I have familiarized myself with the camp’s program and activities in which my child will participate. I recognize that certain hazards and dangers are inherent in Camp’s programs, whether in or outside of Camp grounds, including, but not limited to: swimming, water sports, boating, ropes course, rock climbing, zip line, rollerblading, biking on mountain trails and public roads, hiking, overnights, canoe trips, gymnastics, archery, land sports, athletic competition, including bodily contact, intercamp games, use of equipment, other use of the camps fields and facilities and travel in camp owned and leased vehicles and trips off of camp property. I acknowledge that, although Camp has taken safety measures to minimize the risk of injury to participants, the Camp cannot ensure or guarantee that the participants, equipment, premises and or activities will be free of hazards, accidents and/or injuries. I recognize these inherent risks and expressly assume the risks by enrolling my child. I have instructed my child in the importance of knowing and abiding by the camp’s rules, regulations and procedures for safety, and the importance in participating in activities only when supervised, and my child and I both agree to do so.
* It is agreed that the venue and place of trial of any dispute that may arise out of this Agreement or otherwise, to which camp, its directors, staff or agents, is a party, is the Court of Common Please of Wayne County, Pennsylvania and that this agreement will be construed in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to provisions relating to conflict of laws. If any provision of this agreement is deemed to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement shall be unaffected, but without giving effect to the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision. In the event that the Camp is successful in any litigation, it is agreed that the losing party will reimburse the Camp for all attorney fees and costs of litigation.
* If it medical, surgical and/or dental services are obtained for any camper, such expenses shall be the responsibility of and paid by the parents/guardians, except in the case of services rendered by Camp employees or as otherwise agreed.
